Resources.
Everything you need to take part in #NotWaiting today. Make your post, let Tari help with the caption, and share it. Here is how it works.
How to take part
- 1
Open the post maker
Head to Get Involved on the home page. Pick a headline that fits, or write your own, then choose a template, colours, and the shape you need for the feed or a story.
- 2
Write your story
Add a short message about who is building, what they are building, and where. Real and specific beats polished and vague. A line or two is plenty.
- 3
Let Tari polish it
Tap Write it with Tari. It turns your notes into share-ready captions, fixes typos and place names, and keeps the post in the language you wrote it in. Pick the one you like.
- 4
Download your post
Save the image. On a phone you can send it straight to your camera roll or post it to Instagram, WhatsApp and more. On a desktop the image downloads so you can attach it.
- 5
Post it and tag us
Share it with #NotWaiting and tag @africanofilter. That is how the campaign finds your post, reshares the strongest ones, and keeps the momentum going.
Creator kit
Everything you need to post #NotWaiting on your own terms: the mark, the campaign colours, and blank card templates in every shape. Real files, ready to download.
The mark
Use these files as they are. Do not redraw, recolour outside the palette below, or stretch the mark off its ratio.
Colour palette
The exact colours the site runs on. Tap a swatch to copy its hex code.
Post templates
Blank cards in every colourway and shape. Drop in your own photo and text, or use the post maker to do it for you.
Using the kit
Keep the mark as it is
Do not redraw, recolour outside the palette, skew, or add effects to the mark or wordmark.
Give it clear space
Leave clear space around the mark at least equal to its own height. Do not crowd it with other type or graphics.
Use real photos
Pair the kit with real photography, not AI-generated faces or stock people. If a photo is not real, do not use it.
Tag the post
Post with #NotWaiting and tag @africanofilter so the campaign can find it, review it, and feature it.

FAQ
- What is #NotWaiting?
- It is part of Opportunity Africa, spotlighting Africans who are building, creating, investing, and solving problems right now, instead of waiting for permission. Opportunity Africa is the idea behind it: the continent is already moving, and these are the stories that prove it.
- Who can take part?
- Anyone. You do not need to be a designer, a brand, or an organisation. If you are building something, or you know someone who is, you can make a post and share it.
- How does the post maker work?
- You choose a headline, template, colours, and shape, then add a short message. Tari turns your message into share-ready captions. You download the finished image and post it yourself. Nothing is published for you.
- How do creators get featured?
- Post your card with #NotWaiting and tag @africanofilter. The campaign watches the hashtag and reshares the posts that stand out, so a clear story and the tag are what get you noticed.
- What languages can I use?
- The site is in English and French, and you can read it in other languages with the built-in translate switcher. When you write your message, Tari keeps your caption in the language you typed it in, so French stays French and Pidgin stays Pidgin.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Making a post and sharing it is free.
