Terms of Use.
Last updated 9 July 2026
#NotWaiting is part of Opportunity Africa, run by Africa No Filter. By using this site, signing the manifesto, or using the post tool, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the campaign safe and useful for everyone taking part. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Your content, your responsibility
You are responsible for anything you submit through this site: your name and details on the manifesto, a story, a post link, or messages you send Tari. Only submit content you have the right to share, and make sure you have the right to use any names, images, or words you put into a post.
By submitting your name to the manifesto, a story, or a post link, you confirm it is accurate and yours to give, and you grant the campaign a licence to display it (and, where you have agreed to public display, to feature it) on this site and in the campaign’s own social posts. You can ask us to remove it at any time, see our Privacy Policy.
Do not submit anything unlawful, or content you do not have the right to share. We may moderate, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion.
AI suggestions
The post maker can suggest captions with an AI helper called Tari. These suggestions are automated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or off the mark. Read and edit anything Tari gives you before you post it. You remain solely responsible for what you publish, the same as if you had written every word yourself.
Do not submit, or ask Tari to write, anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that contains other people’s private information. We may filter, change, or decline requests we judge to be abusive.
Keep it respectful
Do not create or share content that is offensive, illegal, hateful, or harassing. Content that crosses that line has no place in #NotWaiting.
How the campaign may use your work
The campaign may feature content created or shared for #NotWaiting, for example by reposting or highlighting it. By sharing publicly with the hashtag, you are taking part in a public campaign.
Sharing to social platforms
When you share a post to a social platform, that is your responsibility and is subject to that platform’s own terms. The campaign does not control those platforms.
Provided as is
The tool is provided “as is” for the #NotWaiting campaign. We do our best to keep it working, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free, and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute relating to them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pretoria, Gauteng.
